Tender Grass-Fed Beef Stew
(This delicious recipe comes from our friend Lindsay!)

INGREDIENTS:

1 to 2 cups of chopped carrots

1 to 2 cups of chopped celery

2 chopped onions

1 - 2 packages of Beck Ranch beef stew meat

Olive oil, or oil of choice

Redmond Smoked Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Redmond Wasatch Steak Seasoning to taste

6 cups of beef broth, I use CMM Beef Bouillon

Tomato Paste

Oven safe pot or dutch oven

1. Make sure to pat dry the beef thoroughly and then season both sides with Redmond salt and pepper and Wasatch seasoning.

2. Chop up the vegetables.

3. Pre-heat the oven to 275F

4. Heat up a pan and add a few glugs of oil to it. When it starts smoking, sear both sides of the stew beef - 2 to 3 minutes per side, remove the stew meat and season with Wasatch seasoning again, set aside.

5. In the same pan, add the veggies aka ‘mirepoix’ and braise them. Add a little beef broth if needed to help braise the veggies and add 1 to 2 heaping tablespoons of tomato paste.

6. Place the beef back into the pan and add the rest of the beef broth.

7. Let it simmer for five minutes and then place the pan (covered) into the oven for 90-120 minutes. At 120 minutes it was perfect and not overdone and the grass-fed beef was TENDER and delicious!

The Redmond Wasatch Steak seasoning and CMM beef bouillon really add fantastic flavor and they are both SQUEAKY clean ingredients! I love what ALL these companies are doing.

Now for the meat? Absolutely check out Beck Ranch, the beef is always Grass-fed & grass finished - no grains 🥩 No Added Hormones 🥩 No Antibiotics 🥩 100% USA Wyoming Beef 🥩 Born & Raised On Our Family Ranch 🥩 USDA Inspected and Labeled 🥩 Hand Cut, Individually wrapped and vacuum sealed. It’s sooo good! The kids licked their bowls - well, ya know. We served it with a side of fresh sourdough bread. MMMmmm!
